Ben Tait
Schools PE Coach
Role within Jersey Sport: Ben’s role involves delivering engaging and enjoyable P.E. lessons which help to improve the physical literacy of our young people on the island. Ben is based at based at Samares and Springfield Primary schools, and he also delivers fun activities within the Children’s Holiday Activities.
Previous employment: Before starting at Jersey Sport, Ben completed his degree Exercise Sports Science with Management at Loughborough College. While at university, Ben worked at Portlet Pizzeria and at the Jersey Sport holiday camps.
Employment history: Ben has previously worked at Melbourne Sport Institute, delivering hockey coaching lessons within Australian secondary schools and coached hockey to the men’s and women’s third team at Loughborough university.
Sport Related Qualifications: Upper second-class honours in Exercise Sports Science with Management.
Hobbies: Ben enjoys all sport, including hockey, golf and cricket and also enjoys watching live sport. Ben also coaches the Jersey Women’s first team for the 2022/23 hockey season.
