The island’s inspirational nominees are announced for the 2023 Jersey Sport and Move More Jersey Awards!

Jersey Sport are pleased to announce the inspirational individuals, sporting organisations, schools and businesses who participate, coach or volunteer within sport, and those who enable active opportunities in Jersey have now been shortlisted for the 2023 Jersey Sport and Move More Jersey Awards.

The Awards evening, taking place at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel on 23 November, will recognise and celebrate the many achievements which have taken place between 1 August 2022 and 31 July 2023, with the winners of 13 prestigious Awards presented on stage with their trophies.

Award categories include the Jersey Sport Hall of Fame sponsored by Ocorian Trustees, the Local Hero Award, the Valerie and Sid Guy Lifetime Achievement Award, Sporting Performance of the Year (U21) Award sponsored by Aztec Financial Services (Jersey) Limited, Sports Organisation of the Year sponsored by Ocorian Trustees, Young Volunteer of the Year Award (U25) sponsored by AtkinsRéalis, the Move More Workplace of the Year Award sponsored by Grant Thorton, plus many more!

This year, we will welcome boxing athlete, Hannah Rankin, former WBA and IBO 154lb World Champion as our guest speaker, who will be appearing after her 154lb World Champion fight at the Manchester Arena the weekend before!
