Achievements recognised as nominations open for the RaceNation Sport and Move More Jersey Awards 2022!

Jersey Sport is delighted to announce that nominations for the RaceNation Sport and Move More Jersey Awards 2022 are now open!

The last couple of years haven’t been easy for sports participants, teams, clubs, organisations and volunteers, but now with the return of sport comes the return of our Awards evening, which last took place in 2019.

The RaceNation Sport and Move More Jersey Awards recognise and reward individuals, sporting organisations, schools and businesses who participate, coach or volunteer within sport, and those who enable active opportunities in Jersey. This year, our more informal Awards evening will take place at the Radisson Blu Waterfront Hotel on Friday 4 November.

Nominations are now open for the 12 sporting and physical activity Awards, including the Jersey Sport Hall of Fame sponsored by Ocorian Trustees and a new Local Hero Award, sponsored by Reiach and Hall.

Jersey Sport Chairman, Phil Austin MBE said, “We’d like to say a massive thank you to all of our Award sponsors for their support, and in particular, to our event headline sponsor RaceNation, who are sponsoring the Awards again this year with their RaceNation Sports Giving platform.

After a long wait, we’re so excited to celebrate sporting achievements and excellent physical activity initiatives across the island and give all those people the recognition they truly deserve. It will undoubtably be a great night of celebration for Jersey’s sporting and active community.”
