Transition to Safe Exit Level 2

Tuesday 2 June 2020

The Government of Jersey has announced an anticipated move to Level 2 of the Safe Exit Framework on Friday 12 June.

It has also been announced that some health and fitness businesses, bowling alleys, leisure businesses and venues may open subject to strict hygiene, physical distancing and sector specific guidance.

We are pleased to confirm that Jersey Sport is now working in partnership with the Public Health department to co-produce the associated sector specific guidance for sport and physical activity.

This work is underway, it is our top priority, and we will be in touch with sports organisations, clubs and groups with relevant updates and guidance at the earliest opportunity.

We look forward to supporting as many sports as possible to get back to some form of activity as safely possible.

Please bear with us as we work with Public Health to understand what may and may not be possible in Level 2.

We have diverted staff resource to this work so there may be a small delay in responding to queries over the next few days.

Please take some time to read through the Level 2 framework before re-opening or commencing your sport or activity.
