Jersey Long Distance Swimming Club
The JLDSC was founded in 1974 to promote safe sea swimming. It is our aim to encourage as many people as we can into swimming in the sea just for the sheer pleasure and exhilaration of it. So, if you want to become a more confident sea swimmer then we are ready and waiting to help you.
Contrary to popular belief you do not have to have aspirations of being a channel swimmer to join our club. We welcome anyone who has a desire to extend their swimming abilities beyond the confines of a swimming pool.
We have over 45 years’ experience of sea swimming and are happy to help you with your goal whatever it may be.
