Jersey Cancer Relief

Jersey Cancer Relief is a local independent charity offering non means-tested financial support, where there is a need, to adults living in Jersey with a cancer diagnosis.    We help with doctors’ bills, medical supplies and food supplements, heating support, travel to mainland hospitals and subsistence grants.

We hold various fund-raising events, our main one being the Annual Fishing Competition, in association with Sinkers Fishing Club.  This event takes place on St Catherine’s Breakwater in July or August.  There are prizes for the longest fish caught in both Junior and Senior categories.  Entry is £5 payable at our JCR stand on the day.

All funds raised stay in the island.

Our mission:

To financially support adult islanders with a cancer diagnosis and to fund local cancer prevention services.
