  1. Ticket Type

Sports Volunteer

Available to representatives from not-for-profit sports organisations (registered with the Jersey Financial Services Commission and/or a Jersey registered charity). This may include volunteers, coaches, officials or members. Most volunteer-run local sports organisations are not-for-profit organisations. All of our workshops and training are free for volunteers of not-for-profit sports organisations.

General Admission

Applicable to representatives of profit-making or commercial sports organisations. We charge a small fee of £40 to attend our workshops and training.

 

  1. Booking Spaces and Payments

The relevant prices will be detailed on the workshop booking page.

Free (no-charge)

Spaces will be automatically confirmed upon completion of the relevant entry form. Eligibility checks may be carried out at any time and non-eligible delegates will have their tickets cancelled. If in any doubt, delegates should contact Jersey Sport on 01534 757700 or training@jerseysport.je prior to booking a ticket.

Commercial tickets

Will be confirmed upon receipt of payment in full in addition to completion of the relevant entry form.

Spaces may be prioritised for representatives from not-for-profit sports organisations (volunteers, coaches, officials, members etc.) where there is demand.

 

  1. Refunds and cancellations

Places may be cancelled at any time (up to 24 hours prior to the booked session) in advance by either cancelling the ticket on the online booking system or by contacting Jersey Sport at: training@jerseysport.je.

Free spaces will be cancelled with no charge where advance notice (more than 24 hours) is provided. If you are unable to attend at short notice you MUST call 01534 757700 and email training@jerseysport.je. There will be a £20 cancellation charge invoiced to you directly in the event that you are a no-show, unless there are exceptional circumstances, which will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Paid spaces will be refunded where cancellation notice is given on the following basis:

  • Up to 7 days before the training or workshop – full refund minus online system processing fee
  • Between 1 and 7 days before the training or workshop and where Jersey Sport is unable to fill the cancelled space(s) – 50% refund minus online system processing fee
  • Less than 24 hours before the start of the training or workshop – no refund

Jersey Sport reserves the right to postpone or cancel a training or workshop at any time for any reasonable reason. As much notice as possible will be provided to all delegates and full refunds of workshop fees (including online system processing fees) will be issued.

In the event that a course or workshop is postponed, delegates will be offered first refusal on the revised date.

Jersey Sport’s liability is limited to the refund of the training or workshop fee and does not extend to any related loss of income, loss of business, any indirect or consequential loss as result of the course or workshop cancellation or postponement.
