Sophie Baker
Artistic Roller-Skating

Sophie has been skating since a young age and values the many incredible experiences and opportunities the sport of Artistic Roller-Skating has afforded her.  

As a competitive skater, she has been the British Vice-Champion twice and whilst securing Bronze on one occasion. She has represented Great Britain several times, including competing in the Cup of Europe in Croatia and Switzerland. She was awarded the opportunity to represent Team GB at the World Series but sadly could not attend due to a clash with her GCSE studies. 

Sophie’s aspirations are to be selected again by the GB Federation to compete on the European stage, and have another opportunity to represent Team GB in the World Series. 

Sophie said, “Dedication and commitment to my personal sporting achievements, and sharing this through coaching younger skaters, have been a journey of self discovery and personal growth and I am looking forward to seeing where the next part of the journey takes me.
