Rebecca Hardy-Bishop
Para Swimming

Rebecca is a visually impaired para-swimmer in the S12 category, training at Jersey Swimming Club and Strive Academy, with long course sessions at Crawley Swimming Club. She is also part of the Swim England Para-Bespoke programme. 

Rebecca’s favourite events are the 400m freestyle and 100m backstroke. Some of her proudest achievements include winning back-to-back English national titles in the 100m backstroke (2023 + 2024), holding the British record for the 400m Individual Medley SM12 Short Course, and being selected and competing at the Aquatics GB British Swimming Championships (Paris Paralympic Trials). 

In 2025, Rebecca’s focus is on qualifying for the Aquatics GB Swimming Championships and climbing the British rankings. She is passionate about pushing her limits and advocating for greater accessibility in sport.
