3C International has partnered with the Channel Island’s Surfing Federation to bring this October’s CI Championships to the masses via a live stream of the two day event.
In what is thought to be a first for the surfing community in the Channel Islands, 3Ci will be pumping out full coverage of the action in St Ouen’s Bay on the 28th and 29th of October.
The multi-camera live stream will be webcast via the YouTube channel Jersey Sport TV.
3Ci has been a long-time supporter of sport in Jersey and as guardians of Jersey Sport TV they have been instrumental in capturing and distributing high quality video content of a number of Jersey Clubmark clubs as well as the NatWest Island Games back in 2015.
3Ci Co-Founder and Business Director Phil Bouchard said, “This is a really exciting project to be involved in. To be partnering with the CISF and delivering a broadcast-quality live webcast is amazing and we hope many people tune in to Jersey Sport TV to watch the action and see the amazing surroundings of St Ouen’s Bay. We expect there will be interest from spectators who can’t make it over from Guernsey but also from surfers around the world.”
CISF Contest Director John Harvey said, “CISF have been working with 3CI on live streaming of large surfing events in Jersey, and we’re pleased to announce that we will be streaming this month’s CI Championships live as a test for next year and beyond.”
