Grace Greenwood
Para Taekwondo + Para Athletics

Grace is a para athlete with cerebral palsy and nystagmus. Her sports predominately focus on Taekwondo and Athletics, where she started her martial arts journey at the age of 10 with the Jersey Karate Wado Ryu club.

In 2014, she progressed to Black belt grading under the guidance of Sensei Ryan Lambotte which followed with a GB Taekwondo trial. Grace was fast tracked onto the National Elite Squad, the sports highest level pathway, with a focus on medal potential at both World Championships and Paralympics. 

Grace currently travels every month to GB squad training at the National Performance Centre. In September 2025, she will start University alongside training full-time with the high performance National Taekwondo Club.  

Grace’s ambitions for the year ahead are to double belt gradings rising towards a Dan grading, target domestic competitions progressing to 2025 European and Worlds Championship for GB.
