@Jersey.RunClub Virtual Santa Hat Run
Details
For the last three years, @jersey.runclub has donned tinsel, Santa suits and all sorts of festive hats for a run from town to St Aubins as part of our big Christmas social event. Whilst we have had to cancel this event for 2020 due to Covid-19 restrictions, we still want to find a way to celebrate.
In the spirit of our team motto (#runforeachother), we have asked our runners to donate their usual ticket price to the Shelter Trust Jersey and complete their own Santa Hat Run virtually.
Want to get involved? That’s great!
Anyone wishing to take part must: (i) make a donation (@jersey.runclub members are asked to donate a minimum of £10 each); and then (ii) complete a 5k run* between 1st and 28th December whilst wearing some manner of Christmas-themed headgear!
* walking, cycling, swimming around or about that distance is fine too!
