FUNDING AWARDS
Jersey Sport launched the SUPPORTIN SPORT Fund in May 2024, with thanks and gratitude to legacy monies left in the will of Valerie Guy.
Our priority is to invest this money directly back into local sport and support the island’s sport organisations to build safe and sustainable sport offers which allow more islanders to get involved in local sport.
SUPPORTIN SPORT Funding supports Jersey-based sport organisations by activating plans, aligning resources, implementing change and creating more opportunities for islanders to be active.
During the 2024 pilot project, the SUPPORTIN SPORT Fund distributed £100,000 of legacy monies to 17 local sport organisations. The SUPPORTIN SPORT Fund awarded an additional £179,000 to 36 local sport organisations across two rounds in 2025.
