John Small
Director
John began his career in software development before spending 17 years with the Customs and Immigration Service, where he led the investigation team. He later worked as a Business Improvement Project Manager for the Government of Jersey before moving into financial services regulation and, more recently, regulatory technology.
Now Chief Digital and Change Officer at Andium Homes, John focuses on driving innovation and continuous improvement to enhance services and client experiences. He joined the Jersey Sport Board in 2023.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, John has represented Jersey in basketball at both junior and senior levels and has also played cricket and water polo. More recently, he’s taken part in triathlons, cycling, and running events — anything that keeps him fit and outdoors. He especially enjoys being in, on, or under the water.
John’s passion for sport and physical activity inspires his commitment to helping others experience the same enjoyment and wellbeing benefits through his role with Jersey Sport.
