Dominic Simpson
Background: Dominic has over 25 years of experience in Treasury and Finance and works for a local bank. He has a degree in Economics from the University of Bath, an MBA from Bayes Business School and is a Fellow of the Association of Corporate Treasurers where he is also a Trustee for their Educational Trust. Dominic is originally from Somerset, and moved to Jersey in 2007.
Interests: Sport has always been an integral part of Dominic’s life. He is a keen hockey player, and played Premier Division hockey for Teddington Hockey Club in the UK and has represented Jersey since moving to the island. As well as still playing, he coaches a number of junior groups with Jersey Hockey and is part of their Development and Junior Performance Committee. Dominic also enjoys running and cycling but more of his time is now spent supporting his four children’s activities which gives him a good insight into multiple sports on the island. He is keen to support both performance and participation and making the physical and mental wellbeing benefits sport offers available to all of Jersey’s community.
