Thomas Atkinson
Triathlon

Thomas is a third-year University student training at the British Triathlon centre in Nottingham. His highlights of his triathlon career so far include winning a Gold medal in the team Triathlon event in the Island Games in 2023, as well as competing in Super League Jersey and Super League Malta competitions. 

Thomas’ main focus of the season ahead is to win the 2025 Island Games individual Triathlon in Orkney, before pivoting his focus to target the British Super Series, where he aims to achieve top 10 senior finishes and move up the senior rankings. As he currently focuses on his winter block of training, he is going into the season feeling confident to build on his successes from last year.
