TIGERS SWIMMING CLUB
Tigers Simming Club were awarded £3,975 in Round 2 of the 2025 fund, to provide a project that develops a safer, more sustainable swimming club by funding lifeguard and teacher qualifications to expand programmes and strengthen the workforce
The initiatives are expected to directly benefit over 500 participants through the award received by the SUPPORTIN SPORT Fund.
This project will help the Club build a stronger and safer swimming environment by training new lifeguards and qualified swimming teachers. Over the next year, the Club will run local NPLQ lifeguard courses, support volunteers in gaining Swim England Level 1 and 2 teaching qualifications and create clear pathways for young people to step into key roles. Expanding the number of trained staff will make sessions safer, increase availability, and allow the Club to grow its programmes. With a larger, better-qualified team, the Club can continue offering inclusive, high-quality swimming opportunities for the whole community.
