SUPPORTIN SPORT FUND
RIDING FOR THE DISABLED
Riding for the Disabled were awarded £1,486.50 in Round 2 of the 2025 fund, to ensure local coaches are trained and assessed by certified UK RDA instructors to ensure the Jersey program meets national standards and supports competitive opportunities for riders.
The initiatives are expected to directly benefit over 60 participants through the award received by the SUPPORTIN SPORT Fund.
Jersey’s riding coaches are trained and assessed by certified UK RDA instructors to make sure every session is safe and effective. This expert guidance helps volunteers develop their coaching skills and supports riders who want to compete in regional and national events.
