SUPPORTIN SPORT FUND
JERSEY SHOTOKAN KARATE
Jersey Shotokan Karate were awarded £3,375 in Round 2 of the 2025 fund, to support a project that develops volunteer judges to build a skilled pool of local officials and support karate competitions at regional and national levels.
The initiatives are expected to directly benefit over 30 participants through the award received by the SUPPORTIN SPORT Fund.
This project trains volunteer judges to ensure high-quality officiating at regional and national karate competitions. Through examiner courses and ongoing development opportunities, participants will build skills to support athletes effectively and contribute to a strong, local pool of qualified officials within HDKI and WUKF.
