SUPPORTIN SPORT FUND
JERSEY BOXING ACADEMY
Jersey Boxing Academy were awarded £4,750 in Round 1 of the 2025 fund, to partner with secondary schools to use boxing as a tool to improve student behaviour and engagement, and opportunities for participants to gain qualifications. The initiatives are expected to directly benefit over 50 participants through the award received by the SUPPORTIN SPORT Fund.
This project will launch a collaborative project with secondary schools, including Les Quennevais and La Sente, to use the structured discipline of boxing as a tool to improve behaviour and engagement among students. Following a successful trial at La Sente, the initiative has shown promising results and will also offer participants the opportunity to earn recognised qualifications from GB Boxing, further supporting their personal development and prospects.
