Megan Hansford

Megan Hansford is a female swimmer that has represented Jersey on a number of occasions. Being a Youth Commonwealth Games finalist in Trinidad in the 100m Backstroke. As well as at the 2023 Island Games in Guernsey, where she delivered an exceptional performance, earning gold in the Women’s 200m Individual Medley and contributing to Jersey’s victory in the Mixed 4x50m Freestyle Relay. Additionally, she participated in the 2024 Olympic Trials, competing in all the Backstroke races while alongside fellow Tiger teammates.
In 2024, she represented Swim England at the Swedish Grand Prix in Stockholm, participating in many finals and contributing to a silver medal in the mixed relay event.

Currently, Megan is training with the goal of qualifying for the 2026 Commonwealth Games. She is also looking forward to competing in Orkney at the 2025 Island Games with her teammates.
