Luke Holmes
Triathlon

Luke is a triathlete currently training in Jersey. As part of his swimming schedule, he trains with Tigers Swimming Club under the guide of Lee Merrien, Jodie Swallow and Nathan Jegou.

Luke has proudly represented Great Britain in triathlon twice, making the A Final on both occasions. In 2023 he was ranked 1st nationally, finishing 3rd overall last season despite being the youngest in his age group. One of Luke’s proudest achievements was winning two medals at the 2023 Youth Commonwealth Games; a Gold in the individual triathlon event and a Bronze in the team triathlon event alongside teammate and friend, Siena.

For the 2025 season, Luke is determined to continue progressing and earn more GB appearances. His first international race is scheduled for March in Quarteira, Portugal, where he will compete in a European Cup. Luke’s ultimate goal is to qualify for the World Championships in Wollongong this October and test himself against the best in the world.
