Jo is a professional golfer currently competing on the Alps Tour, where he travels across Southern Europe and North Africa to test his game against top international talent.

He spent the past four years at Jacksonville University in Florida, competing at the NCAA Division I level while earning both a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Exercise Science. During his time in the U.S., Jo benefited from world-class coaching, facilities, and competition, which helped shape him into the well-rounded athlete he is today.

As an amateur, Jo gained valuable experience by competing across Florida and on the UK amateur circuit, home to some of the most prestigious tournaments in the amateur golf calendar. These events regularly attract elite players from around the world and provided a strong foundation for his transition to the professional ranks.

Jo turned professional in January 2025 and earned his place on the Alps Tour through a rigorous two-stage Qualifying School held in Italy. His 2025 season includes 18 tournaments across Spain, Italy, Austria, France, Tunisia, and Egypt—offering both competitive challenges and opportunities for growth.

Looking ahead, Jo’s primary goal is to progress to the HotelPlanner.com Tour by finishing high on the Alps Tour Order of Merit. From there, he has his sights firmly set on advancing to the European Tour in the coming years.
