James is a competitive cyclist for Team Jersey, recently achieving 8th place Overall in the British Cycling National Cross-Country series and 9th place Senior at the National Championships. 

Throughout the last season, James consistently delivered performances which placed him in the top 10 and top 15, which he was particularly proud of. Looking ahead to 2025, he is extending his National Series calendar by adding the 3 Nations Cup rounds in the Netherlands and Belgium to his schedule, as well as hoping to medal in Orkney at the 2025 Island Games.
