Hannah Silcock
Table Tennis

Hannah is a passionate and talented Table Tennis athlete who, at the age of 7, first started playing at the Geoff Reed Table Tennis Centre in St Clement.

Fast toward to 2023 at the age of 16, Hannah successfully claimed the title of British Women’s Home Nations Champion. She currently represents Jersey at all levels, including European Youth Championships and World Table Tennis events.

One of the highlights of Hannah’s career was representing Jersey at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. She qualified through the preliminary rounds before losing to the current UK No. 1, Tin-Tin Ho, in the last 32 of the knock-out stages. This experience was a significant milestone and fuelled her determination to achieve more, leading to a decision in 2024 to leave Jersey to attend Kesteven & Grantham Girls School to study A-Levels and play for Grantham Table Tennis Academy, the only UK Table Tennis academy.

Hannah said “Throughout my journey, I have received immense support and mentorship, for which I am incredibly grateful. I am excited about my future potential and the opportunities ahead.”
