Inclusion Advisory Group
Jersey Sport Invites Volunteers to Join Its Inclusion Advisory GroupÂ
The Inclusion Advisory Group has been established to advise the organisation on equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) matters, supporting the development, operations and activities relating to sport across the island. The group provides guidance and advice to help ensure that sporting opportunities, delivered by Jersey Sport and community sport organisations, are accessible and enjoyable for all islanders.Â
While the group is already in place and actively working, Jersey Sport is always looking to welcome additional members who can contribute meaningfully and add value. We are seeking passionate individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, experiences and perspectives to further strengthen and shape our work.
To be successful in joining the advisory group, members will need to demonstrate significant knowledge, lived experience and/or experience of operating at a strategic level in either the public or private sector. A strong understanding of equality matters is essential. We are particularly interested in hearing from women, individuals from the LGBT+ community, members of the Polish or Portuguese communities, and those with a passion for and involvement in disability sport.Â
Individuals with a general background in, and passion for, equality and diversity are also encouraged to apply.Â
These voluntary roles will be filled based on both the technical ability to fulfil the position and key behavioural competencies aligned with our organisational values.Â
