Jersey Boxing Academy were awarded £4,813.00 through the Sport Workforce Development Award, to expand the number of qualified boxing coaches and support existing coaches to progress to higher-level qualifications.

The project will support Level 1 and Level 2 coach development, helping improve coaching quality, increase confidence among volunteers, and strengthen the club’s long-term sustainability. A key focus is also to develop more female coaches, enabling female-only sessions and encouraging more women and girls to take part in boxing.
