Here’s how to ensure your organisation meets our quality standards and can implement on-going good practice.
Quality Standard 1
The organisation, team or league is affiliated to its National Governing Body/ World Federation.
Recommendations:
- National Governing Body/ World Federation affiliation
- Demonstrates and promotes National Governing Body / World Federation standards e.g. complying with Anti-Doping rules and regulations
Resources:
Quality Standard 2
The organisation’s activities, premises and coaches are insured.
Recommendations:
- Ensure National Governing Body / World Federation affiliation provides appropriate level of insurance for sporting activities, or obtain private insurance to cover if this is not offered
- Hold appropriate site insurance regardless of owning, leasing or sharing facilities
- Guarantee individual coaches are appropriately insured, if this cover is excluded from organisation claim
