Filip has represented Great Britain already on many occasions during his junior swimming career. His first international representation came in 2023 at the European Youth Olympics where he placed second, setting a new British Age-Group record in the 200m Breaststroke; as well as contributing to a Silver medal in the team medley relay.
In 2014, Filip travelled to Vilnius, Lithuania to compete at the European Junior Championships where he placed second in the 200m Breaststroke amongst a heavily contested field, whilst simultaneously breaking the National Age-Group record. At this same competition, Filip and his team placed third in the team relay.
2025 marks Filip’s final year as a Junior athlete. He hopes to qualify and be competitive at European Juniors as well as make the World Juniors team, whilst also being able to compete in Orkney at the 2025 Island Games.
