2025 NEW EASTER ‘SPORT TASTER’ HOLIDAY PROGRAMME

NEW FOR EASTER 2025!

We are excited to announce the launch of our newly designed ‘Sports Taster’ Holiday Programme for children aged 5 to 11 years old. The programme will be delivered through a new schedule aligning better to the school day, offering provision during the school holidays Monday-Friday 08.30-15.30 (excluding bank holidays).

The new ‘Sports Taster’ Holiday Programme is designed to give children the opportunity to try a range of different sports that they may never have tried before and inspire them to participate in sport outside of our programme. Information about how your child can learn more about a sport delivered within the ‘Sport Taster’ Holiday Programme will be shared with parents/guardians at the end of each school holiday week.

There will be four different sports to try each day, with two sports being delivered each morning and afternoon. Sessions will be delivered by local sport organisations alongside Jersey Sport coaches. Children will get the chance to experience a diverse range of sports, including, but not limited to:

• Ball sport, such as Hockey, Basketball and Bowls
• Racket sports, such as Tennis, Squash and Badminton
• Striking sports such as Softball, Cricket and Golf
• Combat sports, such as Karate, Judo and Brazilian Ju-Jitsu
• Olympic sports, such as Skateboarding, Gymnastics and Cycling

If you are a family that is in receipt of the childcare component of Income Support because you are employed, our courses are eligible for you to claim back the cost of any sessions booked and paid for in full. If you require an invoice, please request this by emailing: bookings@jerseysport.je
