Skateboard Jersey were awarded £21,625.00 across the Increasing Participation, Sport Workforce Development, and Professional Workforce Funding categories, to support community skateboarding sessions, coach development, and the continued growth of skateboarding in Jersey.

The funding will support free community sessions for new participants, helping reduce barriers such as cost, equipment access, travel, and the need for adult support. It will also fund advanced coach development through SkateboardGB training and contribute to the Operations Manager role, helping coordinate coaches, programmes, inclusive delivery, community events, governance, and partnership work.

Together, these initiatives will strengthen Skateboard Jersey’s capacity to deliver safe, accessible, and sustainable skateboarding opportunities, while supporting more people to try the sport, progress their skills, and stay connected to Jersey’s growing skateboarding community.
