Jersey Wado Ryu were awarded £4,502.00 across the Increasing Participation and Sport Workforce Development categories, to support inclusive karate participation and coach development.

The funding will help provide supported places for underrepresented groups, including physically challenged individuals, neurodiverse participants, and adults aged 50+, reducing financial and confidence barriers to taking part. It will also support off-island coaching and development activity, helping coaches strengthen technical knowledge, inclusive practice, and long-term delivery within the club.
