Jersey Shotokan Karate were awarded £3,750.00 through the Sport Workforce Development Award, to support coach and instructor development from June 2026 to November 2026.

The project will invest in the club’s volunteer workforce by supporting instructors and coaches to develop competition coaching knowledge, judging and refereeing skills, club leadership experience, and wider technical development. This will help strengthen the quality of karate delivery, support volunteer progression, and create longer-term benefits for members and participants.
